Electric Marathon is a unique annual rally of environmentally friendly transport. The event is traditionally patronised by His Serene Highness Prince of Monaco Albert II and is aimed at promotion and encouraging of sustainable and eco-friendly innovations, including the usage of the electric vehicles in modern Europe. Electric Marathon 2016 will last 13 days (May 22 - June 3), and will cover 10 countries and many European towns and capital cities. The rally will go through Lviv and Krakovets (Ukraine), Rzeszow and Wieliczka (Poland), Ostrava and Brno (Czech Republic), Šamorín (Slovakia), Wiener Neustadt and Linz (Austria), Munich, Ulm, Stuttgart and Baden-Baden (Germany), Freiburg (Germany), Lucerne and Bellinzona (Switzerland), Parma, Larderello, Pisa, Bologna, Alassio (Italy), Menton (France). It will finish in Monte Carlo, Monaco, where HSH Prince of Monaco Albert II will personally award the winners.
